Feng Shui for Realtors
by Teresa Marie Marinelli
-
The number 4 in Chinese sounds like death. The Chinese tend not to
buy a home with this number.
- The
number 8 in Chinese sounds like money and is very auspicious.
Double 8 is even more favorable.
- Steps
leading up to a house are important as it lifts the chi and
elevates it prior to entry.
- Large
trees close to the front door can create obstructions in ones
life path and sometimes health related problems.
- Properties
that slop down in the back allow chi to run off and escape. This can
equate to financial loss.
- Angled
entries represent unexpected events that are typically not favorable.
- Water
in the front of the house or a view of water is very favorable as
it represents abundance and prosperity.
- Water
traditionally behind the house can mean financial loss. As in ancient
times water could get out of control and unmanageable causing flooding
and financial loss.
- A
mountain or hill behind the house is recommended providing support
to the occupants.
- A
mountain, hill or other large obstruction to the front of the house
is not advised as it prevents fortune and opportunities to flow to
the occupants as they cannot see the opportunities in advance.
All
of the above can be remedied. Call or email us, seek the advice of
a local feng shui expert or do your own research.
